Teachers Day Celebration – Role Reversal Day
The SQA RAK Centre joyfully celebrated International Teachers’ Day, an occasion dedicated to recognising the immense contributions of educators worldwide. To honour this special day, the Culture Club under the CACC (Clubs and Co-Curricular Activities Committee) organised a heartfelt celebration on Monday, October 6.
The initiative was designed to appreciate the dedication, passion, and guidance teachers provide in shaping young minds and fostering personal growth. During regular class hours, students surprised their teachers with a Jar of Gratitude — a thoughtful collection of handwritten notes filled with sincere messages of appreciation, respect, and admiration.
In addition to the gratitude jar, each teacher received a small plant, symbolising the nurturing role educators play in helping students grow academically, emotionally, and personally. Just as a plant flourishes with care, students thrive under the guidance and encouragement of their teachers.
The surprise gesture brought genuine warmth, smiles, and heartfelt moments across the centre. Classrooms were filled with gratitude and joy as students expressed how deeply they value the impact their teachers have on their learning journey.
Through this meaningful celebration, the centre community reaffirmed that a teacher’s influence extends far beyond the classroom — it shapes futures, inspires confidence, and touches hearts.
