Dr. Sunil Kumar C.T. is the Academic Director at the University of Stirling Ras Al Khaimah Campus, UAE, and an accomplished academic with over 24 years of combined industry and higher education experience across India and the UAE. He holds a Ph.D. in Management (Finance), M.Phil. in Management, Master of Science (Consultancy Management), and MBA (Finance).
He is a highly credentialed finance and accounting professional, holding internationally recognised qualifications including ACMA & CGMA (AICPA & CIMA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA – IMA, USA), Senior Fellow of Advance HE (SFHEA), UK, Fellow of the Association of International Accountants (FAIA), Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (MCSI), UK, Member of the Institute of Public Accountants (MIPA), Australia, Associate Financial Accountant (AFA), and Full Member of the American Accounting Association (AAA). He is also a Recognised Tutor for ICAEW CFAB and holds the Certificate in International Financial Reporting (CertIFR) awarded by ACCA.
Dr. Sunil has held several academic leadership positions and has previously served at Amity University Dubai, Birla Institute of Technology, Ras Al Khaimah, and other reputed higher education institutions in India. He has also been associated as a visiting faculty member with leading international universities in the UAE.
His teaching expertise spans Accounting and Finance for Managers, Corporate Finance, Financial Management, Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management, International Finance, Financial Markets and Derivatives, Foreign Exchange Management, Banking and Risk Management, and related business disciplines.
His research interests include international finance, exchange rate dynamics, foreign exchange markets, macroeconomic policy, oil price volatility and its impact on GCC economies, current account deficits, sustainable finance, financial analytics, and AI-enabled business decision-making. He has published research in internationally recognised indexed journals, authored case studies published through The Case Centre (UK), and presented papers at numerous international conferences.
